Welcome to Lost Creek Vineyard

Welcome to Lost Creek Vineyard and Tree House Bistro; a scenic oasis in the Hill Country providing a home to a host of butterflies, bees, geese, swans and any other creature that chooses to visit us!

The Hill Country is a rising star in the wine industry and Lost Creek Vineyard and Tree House Bistro are right in the middle of it. Lost Creek is owned by David Brinkman.

As the son of an air force pilot, David was raised in places such as Madrid ,  Louisiana and San Antonio. His background is in electronics and security and he was the founder of Brinkman Security. He began wine making as a hobby that he would be able to enjoy in retirement, but it soon became a second career.

BuddyMany of you remember Lost Creek Winery as a great place to enjoy wonderful wines, the scenery with swans and geese swimming in the creek. Lost Creek Vineyard was voted "Best New Winery" by the Wine Society of Texas.  The prestigious "Texas Best" was awarded to LCV's 2004 Shiraz... many other top awards were to follow in future years.

On June 26, 2007, floods reaching 30 feet tall, invaded Lost Creek’s Tasting Room. The flood destroyed almost everything in the building. The flood washed away thousands of cases of wine and inventory.

In Jan. 2008 David Brinkman, started rebuilding (on higher ground) and in June they were finished with the lower level and re opened Lost Creeks doors to the public. The lower level contains a Majestic, 50' 1880’s Brunswick bar (salvaged from the flood). The bar, the vineyard and the amphitheater are the focal points of the building. The views are incredible, overlooking the vineyard and the reflection of sound created in the amphitheater is perfect for our weekly concerts.

Lost Creek Vineyard was recently voted “Best Winery Destination In The Highland Lakes”.
